About Us
Born and started in Uganda, the Uganda Muslim Development Aid Organization (UMDAO) was founded with a vision to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Initially an ordinary charitable initiative, UMDAO grew through hard work and dedication, quickly becoming a self-made, impactful organization by the time it gained full operational momentum. Like many successful initiatives, UMDAO started by addressing immediate needs and extending support to local communities. It focused on sharing the fruits of collective efforts with the less fortunate, aiming to make life better for as many people as possible. It thrived in its mission, building trust and goodwill through its projects.
Over the years, UMDAO has built a legacy of compassion, growth, and empowerment that has now expanded to touch lives in more than 10 districts around the Uganda.
Vision
The UMDAO Project was started as a legacy of compassion, has grown to reach millions of Muslims around the Uganda. Through our collective efforts, we have been able to deliver life-saving aid, reaching over 10,000 Muslims in some of the poorest and most vulnerable regions. With our help, UMDAO continues to provide food, clean water, medical aid, and shelter to those in desperate need. Our support is transforming lives, restoring hope, and building a better future for the Ummah. Together, we can make an even greater impact.
